& French Baroque Music

4. Music for the soul - Musica

per lo spirito

Music for mandolin and harpsichord by Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi. This program is truly balm for the soul, heavenly beautiful and incredibly sonorous.

5. Langsam und schön - Slow

and beautiful

Meditative music for mandolin and harpsichord by Johann Sebastian Bach. The most beautiful slow movements from sonatas, scores, harpsichord concerts and suites, as well as "Jesus bleibet meine Freude" by Maestro Bach.

6. From Versailles to the

French Revolution

Music for mandolin and harpsichord by harpsichord masters Jean-Baptiste Lully, Francois Couperin, Jean-Philippe Rameau and Jean Frédéric Edelmann. Wonderful swinging French baroque music with a lot of drama and timbre. The dangerous and exciting lives of these French composers were filled with drama in 18th - century France, ideologies and upheavals. Fantastic music but horrific history. The music was written during France's great power until the French Revolution.

7. Masterpieces from 18th

Century Vienna

Believe it or not, but the great Master Ludwig van Beethoven wrote The "Moonlight Sonata" for harpsichord and also sonatas for mandolin and harpsichord. In this program, adagio from the "Moonlight Sonata" and sonatas for mandolin and harpsichord, as well as music by Joseph Haydn and the genius Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart are performed. A wonderful classic program.
